Amazon RDS for Oracle Gets Beefier Instances in More Regions

AWS just rolled out M8i and R8i instances for Amazon RDS for Oracle across new regions including New Zealand, Calgary, Milan, Stockholm, Zurich, and Tel Aviv. These custom Intel Xeon 6-powered instances deliver up to 15% better price-performance and 2.5x more memory bandwidth than previous generations, supporting both Enterprise Edition and Standard Edition 2 with flexible sizing options.
