ElastiCache for Valkey Gets On-the-Fly Durability Switching

Amazon ElastiCache for Valkey now lets you toggle durability settings on existing clusters without rebuilding them—pick between synchronous writes (zero data loss, single-digit ms latency) or async writes (microsecond latency, up to 10 seconds of data at risk). This opens up Valkey for persistent use cases like AI agent memory, RAG knowledge bases, and real-time inventory, available across all AWS Regions.
