ElastiCache Data Tiering Now Available on Faster Graviton4 and Graviton3 Nodes

Amazon ElastiCache for Valkey just rolled out data tiering support for R8gd (Graviton4) nodes in Spain and R7gd (Graviton3) nodes in Spain and Hyderabad. This means you can now scale your Valkey clusters to hundreds of terabytes using SSDs alongside memory, with automatic tiering that moves cold data to disk—perfect for workloads accessing up to 20% of their dataset regularly.
