AWS Lambda Durable Functions Gets Serious Power-Up

AWS Lambda durable functions now supports 30,000 operations per execution (up from 3,000) and 1 MB checkpoint payloads (up from 256 KB), letting you build gnarlier multi-step workflows and AI agents without hitting limits. This means you can iterate over massive datasets, poll external systems for weeks, and persist full event histories directly in checkpoints across all AWS Regions.
