AWS Advanced Ruby Driver Wrapper Now Generally Available

AWS has released the Advanced Ruby Driver Wrapper for RDS and Aurora PostgreSQL/MySQL databases, cutting switchover and failover times to boost app availability. The wrapper supports AWS Secrets Manager and IAM token auth, integrates seamlessly with ActiveRecord through aws_postgresql and aws_mysql2 adapters, and requires zero code changes—all available as open-source under Apache 2.0.
