Amazon WorkSpaces for AI Agents Now Handles Auth and Desktop Connections Automatically

AWS has upgraded WorkSpaces for AI agents to manage authentication and desktop connections through Model Context Protocol, eliminating the need for custom code and manual URL rotation. The service now supports OAuth 2.0 session creation, app discovery via catalog tools, and is available in four new regions: São Paulo, Milan, Spain, and Malaysia.
