Amazon OpenSearch Service Gets Index-Level Encryption
Amazon OpenSearch Service now lets you encrypt each index separately with its own AWS KMS key, perfect for multi-tenant setups where different data needs different protection levels. The feature is live in 14 AWS regions across US, Canada, Asia Pacific, Europe, and South America for OpenSearch 3.3+, with no extra charges beyond standard KMS and OpenSearch costs.
