Amazon EKS Auto Mode Gets Kubernetes Gateway API Support

Amazon EKS Auto Mode now handles Kubernetes Gateway API natively, letting you manage application traffic with standard HTTPRoute and Gateway resources without spinning up extra controllers. The feature includes HTTP/gRPC routing, cross-namespace traffic splitting, header-based routing, and automatic TLS cert discovery via AWS Certificate Manager—all available across all AWS regions where EKS Auto Mode runs.
