Amazon ECS Managed Instances now consolidates tasks across multiple underutilized instances and Spot capacity simultaneously, squeezing better resource utilization and cutting costs without extra fees. The new cross-instance and Spot consolidation features are live in all AWS Regions and automatically optimize both On-Demand and Spot fleets.
