Amazon Redshift rg.large Now Runs Single-Node Clusters
AWS just unlocked single-node cluster support for Redshift rg.large instances (P204+), letting you spin up cost-effective test environments without the high-availability overhead. These Graviton-powered instances deliver 2.4x faster performance than RA3 at 30% lower cost per vCPU, and they're rolling out across 30+ regions worldwide including Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas.
