Amazon RDS SQL Server Developer Edition Now Supports Multi-AZ Deployments

AWS has enabled Multi-AZ deployments with Always On Availability Groups for SQL Server Developer Edition, letting you test high-availability setups without Enterprise licensing costs. You can now validate failover behavior and production-equivalent configurations on SQL Server 2019, 2022, and 2025 Enterprise Developer Edition across supported AWS Regions.
