Amazon RDS for Oracle Gets July 2026 Supplemental Patch Bundle

Amazon RDS for Oracle now supports the new Supplemental Patch Bundle (SPB) for July 2026, bringing specialized patches for Oracle Spatial, Data Pump, and GoldenGate to database versions 19c and 26ai. You can apply these updates to fresh instances or upgrade existing ones via the AWS Console, plus leverage AWS Organizations upgrade rollout policy to stage updates safely from non-prod to production environments.
