Amazon ECS Now Lets You Mark Deployments Done Early

Amazon ECS rolling deployments now support Early Success Criteria, letting you declare a deployment successful once a percentage of tasks are healthy—say 90% of 100 tasks—instead of waiting for all of them. This unblocks your CI/CD pipelines faster and keeps scaling the remaining tasks in the background, which is especially handy for GPU workloads where hardware can be scarce.
