Amazon RDS Gets Real-Time Storage Initialization Tracking

Amazon RDS now shows you exactly when your database storage is ready after restores or Multi-AZ conversions through new StorageOperationStatus fields. This lets you monitor initialization progress in real time and schedule latency-sensitive workloads only when performance is fully provisioned.
