Amazon Neptune Gets Tag-Based Access Control for IAM

Amazon Neptune now supports tag-based access control (TBAC) for IAM, letting you control cluster access using resource and principal tags instead of listing every ARN. Perfect for managing multiple clusters at scale—just tag your principals and clusters, and IAM automatically restricts access to matching tags. This kills lateral movement risks and plays nicely with federated identity providers. Requires Neptune 1.2.0.0+ with IAM auth enabled.
